APPNA Annual meeting

At the APPNA Annual meeting I had the privilege to set up a booth to talk to people about Aquae Vitae and get them involved. APPNA stands for the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America. It was a great experience running the booth and getting to talk to so many different people about something I'm so passionate about. What's even better is that I was able to also get up on stage later on during the meeting and give a brief speech about what Aquae Vitae is all about and why we should all be doing our best to conserve our fresh water.

Poquessing Creek clean up

Poquessing Creek is a 10 mile creek, a tributary of the Delaware River. I went out to the creek this past Sunday with my dog Lucky and my mom. We brought out some bags and me and Lucky went looking for trash and unfortunately there was plenty around some areas of the creek which we took care of. We stopped by the part of it right across from Parx Casino.

Valley Creek clean up

On October 25th, I brought a group out to Valley Creek in the Valley Forge State Park. Valley Forge State park is in the King of Prussia area and is a great place for fishing, hiking and biking. It is one of few creeks in Southeastern PA that is home to wild trout (mostly of the brown variety). Thankfully, many people cherish this creek and that is why it is quite well kept. However, you can always find trash when you are looking for it- so we did our best to find and pick up as much as we could.
